Local DAF truck dealership group, Adams Morey, has presented Cornish based homeless charity, St Petrocs, with 100 thermal mugs.
Since 2007, St Petrocs has provided additional winter services to provide shelter to those individuals experiencing homelessness, ensuring nobody is left outside alone over the coldest months of the year.
Last year the charity worked with over 1200 individuals and the initiative will form a vital part of St Petrocs’ winter services mission, which focuses on providing support and warmth with dignity to the homeless community during winter and beyond.
To assist with this year’s winter services, local DAF truck dealer group, Adams Morey, has donated 100 thermal mugs. The mugs will be distributed across the county enabling vulnerable individuals to have a hot drink from dedicated outlets during the challenging winter months.
Adams Morey South West Dealer Principal, Scott Cocks, explained: “We’re proud to be able to play a small part in supporting the vital work of St Petrocs. The care, advice and support they offer to people in our community who are facing hardship – especially during the winter months – is truly inspiring.”
Scott Cocks continued, “We’re proud to be a business in the South West and helping our community is really important to us. We hope our donation inspires other businesses to join us in supporting vital causes in our community.”
